Description: A Post-Medieval copper alloy finger ring, probably dating to c. AD 1700-1800. A 'peasant ring', the hoop has a shallow D-shaped cross section and is decorated in low relief with a motif depicting a bud and trumpet shaped flower within a panel, repeating 6 times around the circumference. A soldered joint is visible. Traces of gilding remain around the maker's mark. Dimensions: Diameter: 21.2mm; thickness 5mm; weight 2.2g
