Belt buckle made by Dent, Allcroft and Co of London. Made approx 1920-30. Company is now based in Wiltshire. The buckle has been donated to Dents (with the permission of the land owners) and is now in their museum. Dent, Allcroft and Co are a well known glove makers (by appointmeny to the Queen) and are still making gloves.
The history of Dents can be traced back to 1777, when John Dent established his accessory company manufacturing fine leather gloves in Worcester, England.
